The human eye is an imperfect optical system and no two are exactly
alike. Each person has an optical iPrint™ as unique as their fingerprints.
iZon® High Resoution Lenses are the only spectacle lenses that
are customized to the patient's iPrint and address the vision problems associated with the unique aberrations
of the eye that make up the optical iPrint.
Conventional refraction addresses only 2nd order sphere, cylinder and axis, correcting for nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism, with a one size fits all approach. Additionally, conventional technology has been unable to separately address higher order aberrations of the eye, which are unique to each patient. While a patient may see 20/20, their vision is not optimized. They may experience compromised visual acuity, double images, distorted field of view, low contrast, lack of color perception, glare sensitivity, night driving problems, halos/starburst patterns/comet tails around lights at night among other compromising issues.
