Utilizing a proprietary, non-Hartmann-Shack technology, the Z-View Aberrometer quickly and accurately measures 2nd - 6th order aberrations of the eye based on 17,000 points of resolution across a 7mm pupil. In approximately one minute the Z-View arrives at a customized prescription.

The Z-View is the world's only binocular wavefront aberrometer. It is a compact, flexible instrument that fits easily into the dispensing practice. The Z-View performs like a high-end surgical aberrometer but at a fraction of the cost.*

The Z-View Employs Advanced Optics Technology For An Efficient and Effective Exam

1). The Z-View is placed either in a pre-exam or exam room.	2). The patient looks into the Z-View at a binocular target.
3). A safe, low power laser is directed into the eye.	4). The light is reflected off the retina through the cornea and lens, and is directed back into the Z-View to measure the wavefront.
5). The wavefront data are used to calculate the optical fingerprint (iPrint™) of the eye, including lower and higher order measurements.	6). The Z-View Aberrometer produces a customized prescription including lower and higher order (2nd-6th) aberrations of the eye.
